Step, step, triple step into the rhythm at Savoy Fridays, Seattle’s weekly celebration of swing dance, community, and live energy. Whether you’re brand new to the floor or a seasoned swing dancer, you’ll find music, laughter, and a welcoming spirit waiting for you.
This week kicks off with a Solo Jazz Workshop led by Laura Lee Spencer and Rachel Zuraek. After the workshop join us for our weekly social dance where connections spark and the music keeps swinging until the last note.
Location: Lowdown Ballroom | 628 11th Ave E, Seattle, WA 98102 (look for the house with the small sign)
Cost: $8 to $15 sliding scale (FREE for SSC Members)
DANCE FAM SPECIAL: We are celebrating and building our dance community at Savoy! Bring a friend to the lesson and social for free! (Deal valid any nights without live music.)
Check-in: 7:20 p.m.
Solo Jazz Workshop: 7:30 to 9:00 p.m.
Social Dance: 9:00 to11:00 p.m.
